Guided Pod Training is our new training model at The North Athletic Club.
Each member trains in their own dedicated pod, following professionally designed programs that are fully guided by our in-gym screens and mobile app. Every workout is delivered step-by-step on screen — including exercise demonstrations, coaching cues, timers, and progression — so you always know exactly what to do.
There is no coach physically present during Guided Pod Training sessions. Instead, the workout system guides you from warm-up to finish, allowing you to train independently while still following a structured, professionally designed program.
You book your time, select your program, and train at your own pace in a focused, private environment.

Guided Pod Training is a self-directed training model.
Sessions are fully guided by in-gym screens and the app, not by a coach. Members must be comfortable training independently and following on-screen instruction.
For hands-on coaching, form correction, or individualized attention, 1-on-1 Personal Training is available separately with our independent coaches.

Start your journey with a complimentary in-gym experience at The North Athletic Club. Your visit begins with a brief 10-minute introduction where we walk you through our training model, explain how Guided Pod Training works, review pricing options, and answer any questions you may have. You’ll then complete a 45-minute introductory workout inside one of our private training pods — fully guided by our in-gym screens — so you can experience the structure, flow, and environment firsthand. There’s no pressure and no obligation. Just an opportunity to see if we’re the right fit — while taking in some of the best training views on the Vancouver coastline.

With our custom app, all your training needs are managed to ensure weekly progress. Access your personalized programs, view exercise demos, and follow your workouts seamlessly from start to finish. Track your progress beyond the gym by logging nutrition, sleep, daily steps, and every completed session — giving you a clear picture of your consistency and results over time. Booking your Guided Pod sessions is simple and flexible. Reserve your training time directly in the app up to 5 minutes before the start time. Plans change? No problem — you can cancel your session up to 6 hours in advance with a single tap. Everything is designed to make training structured, organized, and easy to stay consistent with — both inside and outside the gym.
Start Training
With up to 10 sessions available each day, it’s easy to find a time that fits your schedule. Our programs are built around real-life strength and conditioning, with six structured workouts offered weekly — 2 full body, 2 lower body, and 2 upper body sessions — so you can train in a way that aligns with your goals. Track your progress through our intuitive app and stay motivated with new programming every four weeks. Each cycle is intentionally designed with progressive overload to keep you getting stronger, fitter, and more confident.
